I'll keep guessing then. Oldsmobile Aurora or some other thing with a Northstar. Or the mod motor they put in fwd Continentals. Hell; maybe a Land Rover Freelander.

Seems like an awful lot of work for any of those, so maybe a Volvo or Lancia Thema. Can't think of anymore transverse v8s unless its a swap.

The Volvo V8 isn't a popular swap choice it seems and the Mod motor in the fwd continentals are taken for their 4v heads.

Lancia and LR are too much for a swap, so the only one left is northstar since they are pretty common.

In order to make it worthwhile, it would have to be a kit like a Miura replica or a Fiero or something that desperately needs a transaxle for mid engine fun.
